Coris Place is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Hanover Township, PA. In this rewarding role, youll make a meaningful difference every day by empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives. Assist individuals with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
Support community integration by accompanying individuals to appointments, outings, and social activities
Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
Administer medications and monitor health needs in accordance with care plans
Promote independence and self-advocacy skills among individuals served
Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members
Respond appropriately to behavioral support needs using approved techniques
High school diploma or GED required
Previous experience in direct care, human services, or a related field preferred
Genuine empathy and commitment to person-centered care
