Staff Accountant - Full Time

Summary:

The Staff Accountant analyzes revenue and expense accounts and prepares variance reports while working with the company’s overall operating plans. They are responsible for maintaining finance reporting on all areas of the business and assisting with weekly projections and annual budgets.
Although this is a remote role, candidates must reside in CO, FL, IL, MA, MN, OH, OK, PA, or TX
Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring, and creating financial models for decision support for revenue, expense, and strategic objectives
Improve financial performance by analyzing results; monitoring variances; Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
Work with Oracle SmartView and Oracle Cloud EPM financial reporting
Have a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
Strong analytical (quantitative as well as qualitative) skills including building models
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced lookup functions (XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH), conditional logic (IF, IFS, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS), and dynamic cell linking
Strong financial modeling experience
Have extensive understanding of financial processes, systems and controls and responsibility for documenting the processes
Able to prioritize workload with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics
