Hourly base pay rate is $16.59 - $24.86/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. We are seeking a detail - oriented Billing Specialist I to join our Billing team in Cherryville, NC or remote. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate billing processes and effective communication with service providers and team members. The Billing Specialist I plays a key role in supporting accurate and timely billing operations for the Cox Fleet. This position is responsible for coding, auditing, and processing invoices, resolving discrepancies with service providers, and ensuring billing workflows are completed efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within a fast-paced billing environment.
Audit reviews the invoice to make sure there are no discrepancies and verifying we have the customers approval limit to proceed.
Perform VMRS coding and costing of invoices, and audit invoices to ensure correct billing.
Undertake additional duties as assigned within the Billing department.
High School Diploma or GED

Experience using computers and office equipment for data entry, faxing, emailing, and document copying
Prior experience with VMRS coding and billing is a plus
