Wildlife Removal & Exclusion Technician - Full Time

$18-$24/hr + Commission
$45,000-$60,000 First-Year Earning Potential

Acorn Wildlife is growing and we're looking for a dependable, hands-on Wildlife Technician to join our team.

This is a field-based production role. Our sales team performs inspections and creates the solutions - your responsibility is to execute work orders safely, efficiently, and professionally.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Execute wildlife removal work orders (including trapping and control methods as directed)
  • Install exclusion materials such as vent covers, chimney caps, screens, and structural barriers
  • Seal entry points to prevent re-entry
  • Perform light carpentry and repair work
  • Work on roofs, extension ladders, in attics, crawlspaces, and other confined areas
  • Follow safety protocols at all times
  • Document completed work with photos and notes
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners upon job completion

You will not be responsible for performing inspections or selling services - your focus is high-quality production work.

Compensation

  • $18-$24 per hour (based on experience)
  • Performance-based commission and production bonuses
  • Overtime opportunities during peak season
  • $45,000-$60,000 first-year earning potential

Compensation combines hourly pay with performance incentives. Technicians who work efficiently and take pride in production have strong earning potential.

  • Comfortable working at heights and in tight spaces
  • Comfortable handling wildlife (including lethal trapping when required)
  • Mechanically inclined and confident using tools
  • Professional and respectful with customers
  • Safety-minded with attention to detail

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record preferred
  • Frequent lifting of 50+ lbs
  • Comfortable working outdoors year-round
  • Able to safely operate extension ladders and work on roofs
  • Committed to maintaining a safe, accident-free work environment
