Underwriting Assistant

Job Duties & Responsibilities Prepare online quotes and assist with issuing commercial and personal insurance policies Process policy filings, ID cards, submissions, and billing activities Gather client information and maintain accurate data entry within agency systems Support daily underwriting and customer service operations while meeting deadlines Required Skills & Experience 1-3 years of experience in commercial property & casualty insurance, policy administration, or customer service within an insurance agency or brokerage Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and client relationship skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel Ability to work onsite in Brooklyn, NY and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills & Experience Experience using CRM or agency management systems such as Salesforce, QQCatalyst, or AMS360 Familiarity with commercial and personal lines insurance processing Compensation & Benefits Competitive W2 base salary paid bi-weekly plus monthly commission opportunities Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) with employer match Paid holidays, PTO, and sick time Monday-Thursday: 9:00 AM-5:30 PM Friday: 9:00 AM-4:30 PM This is a fully onsite position located in Brooklyn, NY 11223 Salary Range 70k+ Apply today to join a professional insurance team with strong growth potential and a supportive work environment.
