Surgery - Neurosurgery Physician

An employed physician group in Saginaw, MI is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurosurgeon to join an established Department of Neurosurgery. The Neurosurgeon will report to the Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery and play a key role in the continued growth and development of a comprehensive neuroscience program.

• Employed Neurosurgery position within a collaborative, multidisciplinary neuroscience service line.
• Leadership opportunities may be available for qualified candidates.
• Practice based at a Level II Trauma Center.
• Shared call coverage of 1:5.
• Broad neurosurgical practice with a focus on:
  • Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgery (fusion and decompression)
  • Kyphoplasty
  • Spinal cord stimulator implantation
  • Craniectomy and cranioplasty
  • Shunt placement
• Opportunity to perform a wide range of cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures.
• Collaborate closely with neurologists, neurointerventional radiologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Interpret advanced diagnostic imaging, including MRI, CT, and angiographic studies, to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Provide consultations, evaluations, surgical care, and follow-up treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Potential for teaching responsibilities and academic appointment opportunities.
• Participate in the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows.
