Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accreditedPhysician Assistant program.
• Certification as a PhysicianAssistant.
• Current licensure in the state of Georgia.
• Significant experience in trauma careand surgical settings.

Responsibilities:

Trauma Patient Care:

Conduct thorough assessments of traumapatients, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnosticevaluations. Collaborate with the trauma surgery team to develop and implementindividualized treatment plans.

Surgical Assistance: Assist invarious aspects of trauma surgeries, including pre-operative preparations,intraoperative support, and post-operative care. Manage perioperativecare and contribute to patient recovery.

Emergency Response: Be anintegral part of the trauma response team, participating in the assessment andmanagement of critically ill and injured patients. Contribute to thedevelopment and implementation of trauma protocols.

Collaboration: Work closelywith trauma surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensurecoordinated and effective patient care. Participate in multidisciplinaryrounds and case conferences.

Patient Education: Provideeducation to trauma patients and their families regarding their injuries,treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
