Facility in Bridgeport, CT seeking Thoracic Surgery APP locums coverage Rates: $150/hr Opportunity Highlights
  • Contract Duration: July 20, 2026 October 19, 2026
  • Schedule: 3 4 days per week (10-hour shifts)

  • Acuity: Primarily minimally invasive cases, including lung and foregut surgery
Clinical Responsibilities The AP provider will be integrated into the full continuum of thoracic surgical care:
  • Surgical First Assisting: Provide expert assistance in the OR for thoracic (non-cardiac) procedures.
  • Robotic Surgery: Utilize robotic platforms for minimally invasive thoracic cases.
  • Inpatient Care: Manage rounding, admissions, and discharge planning for thoracic patients.
  • Outpatient Clinic: See office patients for pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-up.
Provider Requirements
  • Specialty: Thoracic Surgery (Non-Cardiac)
  • Experience: Must have significant Thoracic and Robotic experience
  • Technical Skills: Facile with inpatient rounding, admissions, and discharges
  • Certification: Board Certified PA or NP (AP)
  • Health Compliance: Flu vaccination is required
