Locum Tenens Opportunity: Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Location: Springfield, Ohio
Facility: Full-Service Acute Care Hospital
Total Beds: 250 ICU Beds: 60
Start Date: Upon credentialing
Setting: 100% Inpatient 100% Adult

Team & Support:

  • Current Physicians: 1 Cardiothoracic Surgeon

  • APPs: 2 Mid-levels

  • Onsite Services: Lab & X-ray

  • EMR: EPIC

Required Procedures:

  • General Cardiovascular, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgeries

  • Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)

  • Valvular Repair & Replacement

  • Aneurysm Repair

  • Congenital Defect Repair

  • Lung Resection (including VATS)

  • Chest Wall & Pleural Procedures

  • Esophageal & Diaphragmatic Surgeries

  • Endarterectomy (Carotid & Renal)

  • Ventilation Management

  • Bronchoscopy

  • Acute Volume/Blood Pressure Management

Submission Requirements All Required:

  • Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery

  • BLS & ACLS Certification

  • Active Ohio Medical License (no IMLC accepted)

  • Clean Background/Malpractice Record Smaller payouts may be considered
