Senior Coordinator, Environmental, Health & Safety - Onsite

Location: Redmond, WA 98052

Pay Rate: $28.62/hr.

Duration: 6 Months

Onsite/Remote/Hybrid: Onsite

Shift (if applicable): 1st - M-F 8:00am - 4:30pm Occasional weekend or overtime, as required.

Job Description:

• Assist in implementing and monitoring company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Maintains safety equipment inventory, performs periodic safety inspections, monitors hazardous waste removal vendors, and may assist in consolidating hazardous wastes (chemical, radioactive, and/or medical).
• Interacting with a variety of departments, conducts training in emergency response and hazardous material handling.
• Monitors environmental compliance and maintains liaison with appropriate regulatory agencies.
• Recommends corrective action where environmental health and safety hazards exist.
• Interacts with others in the administration of the worker's compensation program and the implementation of workplace ergonomics and program solutions.
• Monitors industrial health compliance This position requires knowledge that is acquired through experience, specialized education, or training.

Must Haves:

1. Prior experience identifying risk, preventing

injuries and illness, and ensuring compliance

with safety and environmental regulations

2. Communication and training experience

3. Influence and leadership

Nice to Have:

1. Regulatory knowledge

2. Data analysis and reporting

3. Root cause analysis/decision making

Education: Bachelor's degree or associate degree + 3 years exp.

OSHA training credentials

Experience in risk management, global EHS programs, laboratory safety, operations, construction safety preferred.
