Restaurant Manager

Kamome Japanese Restaurant is located at Canoe Pass Way, Tsawwassen, BC V4M 0B2. We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Restaurant Manager. If you are interested, please submit your application by e-mail or mail.

Position: Restaurant Manager
Wage: CAD $36.60/hour
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Working hours: 30- 40 hours per week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:
Manage daily restaurant operations;
Monitor sales, set menu pricing, and manage budgets and inventory including receipts and bill payments;
Plan and coordinate overall employee schedules;
Monitor employee performance and conduct performance evaluations;
Review food ingredient usage and waste levels to determine ordering needs and negotiate with suppliers;
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction;
Respond to and manage emergency situations as required;
Recruit (resume review and interviews) and oversee employee training and supervision;
Conduct staff meetings to discuss operational issues and improvements;
Ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders to customers.

Job Requirements:
Completion of secondary school; and
Minimum 3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, is required.
Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is an asset.
