RESIDENTIAL ELECTRICIAN - DIRECT HIRE

ORR Construction Company is seeking an experienced Residential Electrician to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, knowledgeable electrician who can perform residential electrical work from rough-in through finish on new construction, additions, remodels, and ADU projects.

PAY: $35-$55 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

POSITION: Full-Time Direct Hire
WORK AREA: Orange County & Los Angeles County

Responsibilities

• Perform residential electrical installations, repairs, and modifications
• Perform electrical rough-in and finish work
• Install and connect panels, breakers, outlets, switches, lighting, and fixtures
• Install residential branch circuits and wiring
• Work on new construction, remodels, additions, and ADUs
• Read and interpret electrical plans and construction drawings
• Coordinate electrical work with framing, plumbing, HVAC, and other trades
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify potential problems
• Follow applicable California electrical codes and project specifications
• Coordinate inspections and correct inspection-related items as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Communicate project status and material needs to the project manager/superintendent

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of residential electrical experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems
• Ability to read electrical plans
• Experience with residential new construction and remodeling
• Knowledge of California electrical code requirements
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned work on schedule
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable attendance and professional attitude
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

Journeyman-level residential electricians and experienced lead electricians are encouraged to apply.
