Regional CDL Driver

The Regional CDL Driver will operate dry van trucks over routes typically ranging between 50 and 200 miles, often exceeding 200 miles. This role involves solo driving with a focus on safety, timely delivery, and maintaining compliance with all regulations. The driver must effectively manage vehicle inspections, secure cargo properly, and communicate clearly using technology such as Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs), email, and text messaging to report deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough vehicle inspections to ensure safety regulations
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and regulatory compliance standards
• Accurately maintain logs and reports using ELDs
• Engage professionally with customers during deliveries
• Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules
• Secure loads properly within dry vans to prevent damage
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Knowledge of safety regulations and vehicle maintenance
• Proficiency in cargo securing and time management
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years experience in commercial driving
