About the Position

Our client is seeking a Regional CDL A Driver based in Kansas City, Missouri. This position involves operating within a 700-mile radius of Kansas City and delivering farm and home products to stores throughout the region. Most freight is no-touch, with light-touch delivery responsibilities.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $360 per day
• Guaranteed pay of $1,800 for a five-day workweek
• Saturday night runs: $28 per hour
• Typical schedule: Monday through Friday, starting at 7:00 a.m.
• Occasional Saturday work may be required
• Hours per week: 40
• Employment type: Long-term flex

Job Details

• Route type: Regional
• Operating area: Within 700 miles of Kansas City
• Delivery locations: Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas
• Freight: Farm and home products, primarily palletized feed
• Freight handling: Mostly no-touch with light-touch delivery responsibilities
• Equipment: Electric pallet jack and, at some stops, a manual pallet jack

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL A vehicle on regional routes
• Deliver palletized products to farm stores and other designated locations
• Use an electric pallet jack and manual pallet jack as required
• Complete multiple stops each week based on assigned routes
• Maintain compliance with applicable safety and transportation regulations

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
