Quality Assurance Manager Gelatin Industry

Lead quality assurance efforts at a leading gelatin and collagen manufacturer in Schiller Park, IL. We're seeking a hands-on leader to elevate food safety and product quality standards. As our Quality Assurance Manager, you will spearhead the Quality team in a full-time capacity. This position requires a strong background in food manufacturing quality systems, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement practices. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for working across various departments including Operations and R&D. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and develop the Quality Assurance team • Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and food safety standards • Manage internal and external audits effectively • Oversee product release and quality documentation processes • Promote a strong culture of food safety and quality Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field • 5+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing • Deep understanding of HACCP, GMP, and FDA regulations • Experience with audit processes in food safety • Strong problem-solving and communication skills Make a tangible impact on product quality and compliance in the food ingredients industry.
