About Us
River City Industries (RCI) is a San Antonio-based sheet metal and precision components manufacturer serving the aerospace and defense industries. We're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our shop floor team.

About the Role
As a Quality Control Inspector, you'll verify that parts meet engineering and customer requirements at key points in the production process. No prior QC experience is required - on-the-job training is provided. We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn precision measurement.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Perform in-process and final inspections using calipers, pin gauges, radius gauges, and other measurement tools
• Record measurement data accurately to support job/part traceability
• Identify and report nonconforming parts, or measurements
• Communicate with production and quality team members to resolve inspection issues
• Maintain organized, accurate inspection records

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read technical drawings (GD&T knowledge a plus, not required - training provided)
• Comfortable using precision measurement tools, or willing to learn
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping accuracy
• Reliable attendance and ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Basic computer skills for data entry

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods on a shop floor
• Ability to lift up to 45lbs as needed
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
