  • Coverage needed 30 days per month
Licenses Required
  • Active Georgia Medical License
  • Georgia DEA Required
Board Certification
  • Board Certified in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Required
Required Training
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellowship
Required Certifications
  • ACLS
Experience & Procedural Requirements

Must be comfortable performing:

  • Tracheal intubation
  • Central venous line placement
  • Arterial line placement
  • Chest tube insertion
  • Dialysis catheter placement
  • Thoracentesis
  • Lumbar puncture
  • Conscious sedation
  • Bronchoscopy
Practice Details
  • Adult medical/surgical ICU
  • No OB
  • No Pediatrics
  • No Trauma
  • Average 10 patients per day
  • 4-5 admissions per day
  • Responsibilities include:
    • ICU admissions
    • Cross coverage
    • Pulmonary consultations
Support Staff
  • Hospitalists
  • Emergency Medicine Physicians
  • Respiratory Therapists
  • ICU Nursing Staff
EMR
  • Epic

  • Coverage needed due to staffing shortage and expansion of services.
