Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care to a population primarily diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
• Collaborate with patients, aides, and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Utilize the eCW EMR system for patient documentation and care coordination.
• Participate in a collaborative, community-based care model within a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) offering a range of services including primary care, podiatry, dental, psychology, and psychiatry.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Experience or strong interest in working with developmentally disabled and special needs populations is strongly preferred.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare team.
