She Recruits is partnering with a respected behavioral health organization to recruit a Board Certified or Board Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for an inpatient opportunity serving the Pembroke, Kentucky community.

Position Highlights
  • Full-time W-2 opportunity
  • Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Average daily patient census of approximately 16
  • Opportunity to serve as either Medical Director or Staff Psychiatrist
  • Collaborative multidisciplinary treatment team
  • Supervision of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs)
  • Strong administrative and clinical support
Schedule Staff Psychiatrist
  • Monday-Friday
  • Shared call rotation of approximately one weekend per month
Medical Director
  • Monday-Friday
  • No call requirement
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and admissions
  • Provide daily follow-up care and medication management
  • Complete discharge planning and documentation
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings
  • Supervise APRNs and provide clinical oversight
  • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, case management, and social work teams
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based inpatient psychiatric care
  • Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation
Qualifications Required
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Fellowship training or Board Certification/Eligibility in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion for caring for children, adolescents, and their families
