JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our dynamic outpatient psychiatric practice specializing in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Spravato and advanced psychiatric treatments. This role is based in a multi-location setting, requiring strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a passion for cutting-edge psychiatric treatments. The PMHNP will work closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Requirements and Qualifications
  • Doctoral or Master's degree in Nursing, with ANCC Certification in Psychiatric Nursing
  • Valid DEA and Texas state licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, willing to obtain NM APRN license
  • 3+ years of Psychiatric NP experience in an outpatient clinical setting
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

  • Credentialed with Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare and Commercial Payers
  • Knowledge of mental health and emotional disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Duties and Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat mental health and emotional disorders
  • Prescribe and monitor medications
  • Become competent in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and/or Spravato/Esketamine Therapies
  • Maintain detailed records of patient visits and progress
  • Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient continuity of care
  • Educate patients and families about mental health and emotional disorders
  • Participate in community outreach and education
