We are a Sarasota-based pool equipment and pool heating company seeking an experienced and dependable Pool Equipment Technician to join our team.
We are NOT a pool cleaning company. Our work is focused on the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of residential and commercial pool equipment and pool heating systems.

- Residential and commercial pool equipment
- Pool pumps and variable-speed pumps
- Filters and filtration systems
- Salt systems and chlorination equipment
- Valves, plumbing, and related pool equipment
- Pool automation and control systems
- Electric pool heat pumps
- Natural gas and propane pool heaters
- Solar pool heating systems
- Equipment upgrades, replacements, and new installations
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot pool equipment issues
- Install, repair, and replace residential and commercial pool equipment
- Install and troubleshoot electric, gas, and solar pool heating systems
- Complete equipment upgrades and system replacements
- Assist with removal and reinstallation of solar systems for reroofing projects
- Load and transport equipment and materials
- Maintain clean and professional job sites
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
Qualifications
- Previous pool equipment experience is required
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience installing and repairing a variety of pool equipment
- Pool heater experience strongly preferred
- PV Solar experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation capable of hauling a trailer
- Comfortable towing and maneuvering a work trailer
- Able to perform physically demanding outdoor work
- Dependable and available Monday-Friday
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
This is a 1099 position. Work-related fuel expenses are paid by the company. There is also an opportunity to earn use of a company vehicle after demonstrating reliability and performance.
Our owner has nearly 20 years of experience in the pool and solar industry, and we have a small, experienced team. We're looking for someone who already understands pool equipment, takes pride in their work, and can become a dependable part of our operation.
Our shop is located off Fruitville Road in Sarasota, FL.
