PLUMBING ESTIMATOR - CENTRAL NJ

Growing mechanical/plumbing contractor is seeking an experienced Plumbing Estimator to join its team. This is a great opportunity for someone who can take commercial plumbing projects from bid documents through final proposal.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed estimates, material takeoffs, and bid proposals
• Review blueprints, specifications, and scope of work
• Obtain pricing from vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Analyze labor, material, equipment, and project costs
• Handle RFIs, addenda, and estimate revisions
• Support design-build and commercial construction projects

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of commercial plumbing estimating experience
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and NJ codes
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
• Experience with estimating/takeoff software such as Bluebeam, QuickPen, or similar
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids and tight deadlines
