Plumber/Apprentice

HardHat Workforce Solutions is seeking skilled and experienced Commercial Plumbers to join our team. As a Commercial Plumber, you will be responsible for performing various plumbing tasks in commercial and industrial settings, ensuring the smooth operation of plumbing systems and delivering high-quality service to our valued clients.

Job Location: Roanoke,Virginia

Per Diem : $140

Hourly rate: $35-$40

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and industrial buildings.
• EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH NO HUB CAST IRON, PRESS COPPER, CARRIERS, BLACK WATER ETC
• Conduct inspections to identify plumbing issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including drain cleaning, pipe repairs, and fixture replacements.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure project requirements are met.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan and execute plumbing installations.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each task.

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of experience as a commercial plumber. Apprentices with 2+ years of experience encouraged to apply

• Valid plumbing license/certification in VA/DC/MD or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
• Experience in installing and repairing various plumbing fixtures and appliances.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
