Drive-Thru Order Plater - Smoky Mt. BBQ

Position Summary

The Drive-Thru Order Plater prepares, packages, and checks drive-thru orders to ensure customers receive accurate, fresh, and well-presented meals quickly.

Responsibilities

• Plate and package meats, sides, sauces, and other menu items.
• Read order tickets and follow special customer requests.
• Confirm every item, portion, sauce, drink, and utensil before handing off the order.
• Label and organize multiple orders to prevent mix-ups.
• Coordinate with kitchen and drive-thru staff during busy periods.
• Monitor food quality, temperature, and presentation.
• Keep the plating and packaging area clean, stocked, and organized.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and allergen procedures.
• Assist with restocking, basic food preparation, and cleaning as needed.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work safely in a hot, busy kitchen.
