Inpatient Rehab Medical Director opening in Bradenton, FLSarasota 13m, Tampa 45mWe are seeking a compassionate and quality-driven Physician to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation care team as Medical Director in Bradenton, Florida.

  • This is a full-time opportunity (5 days/week) rounding and providing Medical Directorship in an inpatient rehabilitation facility with excellent support and training, autonomy, and earning potential.
  • Provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team, and build meaningful relationships with patients and their families.
  • Dedicated night call coverage for work-life balance
  • PMR OR IM Hospitalist MUST HAVE 2 years as an attending in a Rehab Facility
  • Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive inpatient medical assessments, including history, physical exams, and review of rehabilitation goals
  • Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in coordination with the rehabilitation plan
  • Monitor functional progress and adjust treatment plans to support recovery goals
  • Collaborate with rehabilitation physicians, nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Provide medical education to patients and families related to recovery, comorbidities, and prevention
  • Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations

  • Compensation is fee for service with an estimated compensation range of $316,877 to $355,052 annually and no cap on productivity income potential.

  • Qualifications
  • PMR OR IM Hospitalist MUST HAVE 2 years as an attending in a Rehab Facility
  • Current physician license (State of Florida) and DEA
  • Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook
  • Ability to commute/relocate: Bradenton, FL (required)
