Per-Diem Physician Assistant (PA) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Urgent Care (Sundays)
Woodmere, NY

We are a busy, well-established urgent care center in Woodmere, NY seeking an experienced and dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team on a per-diem basis, with a primary focus on Sunday coverage (12-hour shifts).

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for flexible, supplemental work.

Position Highlights

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered urgent care services
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
• Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, X-rays, etc.)
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
• Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative staff

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted New York State PA or NP license
• Urgent Care experience required
• Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume setting
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Preferred (but not required)

• Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR
