Responsibilities:

  • Daily newborn inpatient rounding
  • Call coverage
  • Rounding averages approximately 2 hours per shift, depending on census
  • Minimal anticipated callbacks
Licenses Required
  • Active Florida Medical License Required
Board Certification
  • Board Certified Pediatrics Required
Required Certifications
  • PALS Required
Practice Details
  • Inpatient newborn rounding and call coverage
  • Average patient volume: 6-7 patients per shift
  • 15-bassinet newborn unit
  • Admissions required
  • Assigned and unassigned rounding patients
  • Trauma Level I
Call Details
  • Beeper Call
  • Call Ratio: 1:1
  • Response Time: 30 minutes
