  • EMR: EPIC (used for both inpatient and outpatient)
  • Large demand for general orthopedics, with flexibility to create a niche practice
    • Past subspecialists have included: Spine, Hand, Trauma
  • Strong local and system-wide support from colleagues and adminClinical Scope:
    • Case Mix: General "bread & butter" orthopedics
      • Opportunity to tailor toward subspecialty interests (if desired)
    • Schedule:
      • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
      • Call: 1:3Candidate Requirements:
        • Degree: MD or DO
        • Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
        • Licensure: Eligible for Michigan medical license and controlled substance license
