Occupational Medicine Physician

We areseeking a Locums Occupational Medicine Physician to provide high-qualityoccupational health services in Iselin, New Jersey. This is an excellentopportunity for a physician with a background in Occupational Medicine, FamilyMedicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine who enjoys deliveringcomprehensive workplace health services in an outpatient setting.

Compensation: $150 Per Hour

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-employment, return-to-work, and fitness-for-duty physical examinations.
• Conduct Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals and maintain compliance with FMCSA regulations.
• Evaluate and treat occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Manage work-related medical conditions and coordinate follow-up care.
• Interpret diagnostic tests, including EKGs, X-rays, and laboratory results as appropriate.
• Complete workers' compensation documentation and communicate with employers regarding work status and restrictions.
• Promote workplace health, safety, and injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted New Jersey medical license.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner Certification is required.
• Experience in Occupational Medicine or Urgent Care is strongly preferred.
• Current DEA registration and eligibility for credentialing.
