Physician - OB/GYN
Job Details:
- Locum tenens coverage needed ASAP after credentialing, anticipated through Q1 2027 transition
- Schedule consists of 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a); provider must remain on site for the entire shift
- Multiple consecutive 24-hour shifts may be completed if desired
- 1-2 providers needed to support Laborist Model coverage due to recent physician departures
- 100% inpatient and ED-based practice setting
- Average of 0-6 patients per day
- Perform OB vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
- Provide emergent surgical coverage as needed
- Provide gynecology coverage for the Emergency Department
- Provide practice call coverage for hospital outpatient department (HOPD)
- Round on all patients daily and manage discharges
- Partner with midwives in a collaborative care model
- Provide gynecology beeper/phone call and ED call coverage while on shift
- Document using Epic - Stork EMR system
- Active Ohio license or IMLC with Letter of Qualification required
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
- ACLS Certification required
- Active DEA required
- Clean background with no malpractice or license issues required
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 4 months
- Approved travel reimbursements include airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage at IRS rate
