OB Hospitalist (Laborist)

Overview:
A hospital-based opportunity is available for an OB Hospitalist to provide 24-hour in-house coverage. This role focuses on labor and delivery care in a facility with advanced neonatal support.

Compensation:

$225/hr

Assignment Details:

Start: ASAP (upon credentialing)
Ongoing, sporadic coverage
Minimum of one weekend per month

Schedule:

24-hour in-house shifts
Ability to cover 2 4 consecutive days

Practice Details:

Setting: Hospital-based (Labor & Delivery)
NICU: Level III
In-house call with dedicated sleep accommodations

Responsibilities:

Provide labor and delivery coverage
Manage obstetric patients and emergencies
Monitor fetal heart activity
Collaborate with neonatal and multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) Required
Active Indiana License Required
NRP Required
PALS Required
NCC in Fetal Heart Monitoring Required
Clean malpractice/background Preferred
Local candidates Preferred
