Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a busy outpatient primary care practice serving patients across the lifespan, including both adults and children.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of primary care experience, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently in a high-volume environment. Primary care experience with a diverse patient population is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Perform histories and physical examinations
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Manage chronic conditions and provide preventive care
• Provide patient and family education
• Care for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients
• Prescribe and manage medications
• Coordinate referrals and care with specialists and other healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the clinical team
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a high-volume setting

Qualifications

• Current, active Virginia NP or PA license
• Minimum 2 years of primary care experience in an advanced practice role
• Comfortable caring for both adult and pediatric patients
• Strong clinical assessment and independent decision-making skills
• Ability to manage a busy patient schedule efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Patient-centered approach and excellent bedside manner
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a clinical team
• eClinicalWorks experience is preferred but not required

MD/DO candidates may also be considered.
