Nurse Practitioner, Oncology/Hematology in Ohio
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Oncology/Hematology team in Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology and hematology care, with a passion for providing exceptional patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:- Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and manage patient symptoms and side effects
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and self-care
- Participate in research, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activities
- Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Oncology/Hematology
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Ohio (or willing to get)
- Certification as an Oncology Nurse Practitioner (ONP-C) preferred
- Prior experience in oncology or hematology setting
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
