We are seeking an experienced NDT Engineer with an aerospace background to perform and support nondestructive inspections on aircraft components while ensuring compliance with NAS 410, BSS7698, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will be proficient in multiple NDT methods, equipment setup, inspection interpretation, documentation, and collaboration with engineering and quality teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Eddy Current Testing (ET), Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT).
  • Set up, calibrate, standardize, and operate NORTEC Eddy Current Flaw Detector, EPOCH 650, BondMaster 600/1000, Yxlon MU80-1, Yxlon Multiplex, Hamamatsu, and related NDT equipment.
  • Conduct inspections, interpret results, document findings, and determine product acceptance/rejection.
  • Develop work instructions, support audits, maintain equipment calibration, and ensure compliance with NAS 410, BSS7698, and applicable aerospace specifications.
  • Partner with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve non-conformances and improve inspection processes.

Qualifications:

  • NAS 410 Level II Certification (or eligible) in UT, ET, RT, MT, and/or PT.
  • Experience with Pulse Echo A-Scan, Through Transmission, C-Scan, Bond Testing, Thickness Measurement, Film & Digital Radiography.
  • Knowledge of composite structures, CMC/CWC systems, aerospace manufacturing, and inspection technology.
  • Hands-on experience with Yxlon, Hamamatsu, NORTEC, EPOCH 650, and BondMaster equipment preferred.
  • Aerospace industry experience is mandatory.
