Neonatologist - Medical Director Opportunity (Virginia)

Position Overview- Seeking Board-Certified Neonatologist (MD/DO)

- Position Type: Permanent, full-time
- Residency Requirement: Must live locally (relocation may be required)

- NICU Level: IIIB (60 beds)
- Annual Admissions: 625
- Advanced Therapies:
- High-frequency ventilation
- Nitric oxide therapy
- Work with multidisciplinary pediatric subspecialists including maternal-fetal medicine & pediatric surgery
- Serve as Practice Medical Director overseeing clinical operations & provider performance
- Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Drive program development and clinical innovation
- Collaborate with hospital leadership & academic partners
- Teaching Responsibilities:
- Medical students
- Pediatric & family medicine residents
- Participate in Grand Rounds, simulation boot camps, and education programs
- Mentor residents in research and QI projects
- Support scholarly and academic growth initiatives
- Board Certification: Neonatology - Required (BE not accepted)
- Degree: MD or DO
