Neonatology Physician

Location: Kansas City

• Seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologist
• Join a collaborative, highly specialized neonatal team
• Provide care across multiple facilities

• Primary Site: Level-IIIB NICU (49 beds)
• Annual Volume: 450+ NICU admissions
• Average Daily Census: 30
• Patient Population: Critically ill neonates, including ELGAN (as early as 22 weeks)

• Inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
• High-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV)
• High-frequency jet ventilation (HFJV)
• Therapeutic hypothermia

• 15-bed Level-IIIA NICU
• Growing Level-II NICU
• Well-baby units
• Regional delivery services & neonatal coordination

• Work alongside board-certified neonatologists & NNPs
• 24/7 in-house NNP support
• Telehealth-supported out-of-house coverage
• Opportunities for quality improvement (QI) and academic/clinical interests

• Coverage: In-house NICU coverage (24/7 model)
• Weekends: Included as part of continuous coverage
• Call: Out-of-house support with telehealth + NNP backup

• Board Certification/Eligibility: Neonatology - Required
