The NDT Technician is a certified professional skilled in various non-destructive testing methods, including Radiography, Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Ultrasonic Testing. Operating both as part of an inspection team and leading small NDT teams, this role is crucial in performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance across multiple sites, occasionally involving local and international travel. The technician utilizes manual reporting methods to analyze and record testing data effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Radiography Testing (RT) to detect internal flaws
  • Perform Dye Penetrant Testing (PT) for surface defect identification
  • Execute Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) to locate surface and near-surface imperfections
  • Carry out Ultrasonic Testing (UT) for thickness and structural analysis

Required Qualifications

  • NDT Level II Certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in non-destructive testing
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Radiographic Testing (RT), Dye Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
