High End Manufacturing Plant Needing Pipe Welders! Interview today and start tomorrow

Second Shift Position - Daily Overtime. Shift Differential is Paid.


Qualifications:

Must have 2 years pipe welding experience

  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding weld symbols.
  • Attention to detail for creating leak-proof, high pressure welds.
  • Successful completion of an internal welding test.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.


Responsibilities:

• Manual Welding: Perform high-quality, manual Mig (GMAW) welding on pipe and pipe assemblies.


• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interprets, technical drawings and welding procedures to determine pipe specifications, angles, and welding requirements.


• Quality Control: Perform visual inspections of welds for defects (cracks, porosity, lack of fusion) and use tools such as gauges to ensure adherence to quality standards.


• Material Preparation: Bevel, clean and fit-up pipes, ensuring accurate alignment and proper root openings before tacking and welding.


• Equipment Set up & Maintenance: Must be able to set up and adjust the Mig welding parameters and maintain tools such as grinders, torches and welding guns.


• Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and fix welding equipment minor issues.


• Safety Adherence: Strictly follow safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE (welding helmet, safety glasses and gloves), ensuring light curtains/safety gates are functioning, and reporting near-misses.
