Responsibilities

• Install mechanical systems and equipment according to specifications and blueprints
• Assemble components using hand tools and power tools with precision and safety
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper installation and operation of mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot installation issues and perform necessary adjustments or repairs
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Follow all safety protocols and industry standards during installation processes

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
• Experience with power tools including drills, saws, grinders, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work safely in potentially challenging environments
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various positions as needed
