Job Summary: Mechanical Assembler

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler. This is a leading manufacturer of high-quality fuel filters. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of fuel filtration systems, ensuring that all products meet our rigorous quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with assembly processes, and the ability to work with precision tools and equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembly: Assemble fuel filters, components, and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Tool Operation: Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to fit, align, and secure parts of the filter systems.
• Quality Control: Inspect parts and complete assemblies for defects, ensuring that they meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct visual and mechanical inspections to verify assembly integrity.
• Testing: Perform functional tests on assembled fuel filters to ensure they perform properly under specified conditions.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any assembly-related issues, including mechanical defects or malfunctions, in collaboration with supervisors or engineers.
• Documentation: Complete necessary production documentation, including quality checklists, test reports, and inventory tracking.
• Safety: Adhere to all company safety protocols and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Collaboration: Work with engineering, production, and quality teams to improve assembly processes and product designs.

Qualifications Required:

Electrical wiring and assembly

Able to read and work from drawings/schematics

Assist in inventory count and parts organization

Construction of wiring harnesses and plug assemblies

Testing and verifying assemblers

Location: Ft Myers, FL

Position Type: Full Time

Pay: $18.00

Schedule: 1st shift Hours vary between 7am and 5pm
