Job Description Job Description

Rotomation is looking for a dependable, mechanically minded person to join our assembly team.

This is a hands-on position assembling, inspecting, and testing pneumatic rotary actuators used in industrial automation. The work is detailed and methodical, so we are looking for someone who takes pride in doing things correctly, communicates well with coworkers, and wants to build a long-term career with the company.

You do not need a college degree or years of specialized experience. We are willing to train the right person.

What You'll Do

• Assemble mechanical and pneumatic products

• Inspect components for quality, condition, and correct fit

• Test completed actuators for proper operation

• Use micrometers and calipers and automated test equipment

• Identify problems and discuss them with experienced team members

• Learn different product types and assembly methods

• Take responsibility for the quality of your own work

• Work independently as your knowledge and confidence grow

• Eventually help train newer assembly employees

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Excellent attention to detail

• Good verbal communication skills

• Willingness to ask questions and learn from experienced coworkers

• Ability to work well with people inside and outside the assembly area

• Dependable, patient, and methodical work habits

• Interest in building a long-term career rather than simply moving to the next job

Much of our product knowledge is learned directly from experienced employees rather than from detailed written instructions. You should be comfortable learning hands-on, listening carefully, asking questions, and retaining what you learn.

Helpful Experience

Previous experience is useful, but not required. Relevant backgrounds could include:

• Mechanical assembly

• Manufacturing

• Automotive or equipment repair

• Industrial maintenance

• Quality inspection

• Machine shop experience

• Pneumatic or mechanical equipment
