Manager, Growth Mail
The Manager, Growth Mail (Factor US) is responsible for driving the growth strategy, execution, and continuous optimization of direct mail campaigns to acquire high-value customers for Factor. Driving deep strategic ownership of the Factor brand, this role requires a balance of analytical rigor, creative vision, and vendor management.
You will
- Define the strategy, manage, and efficiently scale new customer acquisition for Factor through direct mail campaigns.
- Develop and execute direct mail marketing campaigns from concept to completion, including segmentation, creative development, production, and analysis.
- Strategically allocate spend across various direct mail campaigns to ensure maximum impact within budgetary constraints, while continuously seeking opportunities for cost-saving measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and analytics, to ensure alignment of direct mail strategies with overall marketing objectives.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, including printers, mail houses, data providers and creative agencies to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of campaigns.
- Utilize data-driven insights to continuously optimize campaign performance and drive improvements in response rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices in direct mail marketing to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis on campaign performance, including key metrics and actionable insights for optimization.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the direct mail marketing calendar, ensuring timely execution and coordination with other marketing channels.
- Serve as the primary direct mail point of contact for Finance and Legal regarding forecasting models, quarterly business plan submissions, contract negotiations, and invoice approvals.
You are
- Experience: You have 6-8 years of direct mail marketing experience, preferably in a manager or similar role.
- Strategic Thinker: You look beyond immediate campaign metrics to map long-term channel roadmaps, evaluate white-space partner opportunities, and build partner segmentation frameworks.
- Influential Communicator: You excel at leading through influence-driving alignment across Creative, Analytics, and Finance without direct authority.
- Analytical: You have strong analytical skills and are proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel or Google Analytics to derive actionable insights from campaign performance data.
- Detail-oriented: You possess exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of campaign execution.
- Collaborative: You thrive in a collaborative team environment and excel at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve common goals.
- Results-driven: You are highly motivated by achieving measurable results and continuously strive to optimize campaign performance and ROI.
- Organized: You have excellent organizational skills and can effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
- Innovative: You are proactive in identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement in direct mail strategies and processes.
At a minimum, you have
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/ Google Suite
- Demonstrated experience managing direct mail campaigns from concept to execution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with direct mail best practices, including segmentation, creative testing, and response tracking.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Fluency in growth marketing KPI's such as CAC, CPA, CPM, CVR, and LTV.
- Hands-on experience building campaign spend forecasts, business plans, and financial scenario models.
