Job Description:

Aya Locums is seeking a skilled CRNA to provide locum services in Chicago, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist looking for flexible scheduling and a rewarding work environment at a prestigious Level 1 Trauma Center. Coverage is needed starting May 11, 2026, and is ongoing for 26 weeks.

Job Details:
  • Case Types: Strong focus on Bread and Butter, off-site locations, GI, IR, and EP Lab. No cardiac, pediatrics, OB, or peripheral nerve blocks.

  • Setting: large academic Acute Care Hospital with 70 anesthetizing locations.

  • Schedule: Full-time (10 CRNAs needed); 10 or 12-hour day shifts available. Standard shifts are 07 30 or 07 30. Must be flexible for later starts (9a or 11a) during peak summer months. No call required.

  • Support: Medical Direction model.

  • EMR System: Epic.

Requirements:
  • Active Illinois State License

  • Active NBCRNA Certification.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience; preference for those with experience in very large hospital settings.

  • EMR: Proficiency in Epic is required.

  • Vaccination: COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical exemptions only for COVID; no exemptions for Flu).
