As a Life Claims Assessor, your primary responsibilities include interpreting contracts, documenting claims accurately, and maintaining effective communication with clients and Third Party Administrators. This position allows for meaningful engagements with individuals experiencing loss and requires a high degree of confidentiality. Key Responsibilities: • Interpret contract provisions for claims adjudication • Document claims reports from clients and field staff • Communicate with reinsurers regarding recoveries • Manage claim administration tasks and settlements • Allocate examiner workflow for incoming claims Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • Working towards Associate, Customer Service Designation • Two years of experience in the field • Understanding of relevant systems like Ingenium and Salesforce • Medical terminology certificate is an asset Excel in delivering efficient claims processing while supporting clients through difficult times.
