Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Health Therapist to join our team at Health Coast Behavioral Center. This full-time position is based in our outpatient office located in Sacramento, California. As a Physical Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality therapeutic services to patients facing a range of physical health challenges. Work Environment

Located in the vibrant city of Sacramento, our outpatient office is designed to foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere for both patients and staff. Working onsite, you will have the opportunity to interact with a diverse patient population and collaborate closely with a team of compassionate healthcare professionals. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical health needs, identifying conditions that warrant therapeutic intervention.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to individual patient goals.
  • Provide therapeutic modalities that may include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation programs.
  • Educate patients on physical health conditions, therapeutic strategies, and promote self-management practices for long-term health improvement.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers including psychiatrists, psychologists, and medical professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training to remain current with advancements in physical therapy practices.
  • Actively contribute to team meetings and case discussions, sharing insights and strategies that enhance patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse array of patients who may be dealing with chronic pain, mobility issues, recovery from injury, or post-operative rehabilitation. Our commitment is to provide them with the necessary tools and support to improve their quality of life. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals, couples, and families as we promote physical wellness alongside emotional health.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure to practice as a Physical Health Therapist in California.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of physical rehabilitation techniques, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to foster therapeutic relationships with patients.
  • Experience in a clinical setting preferred, with an understanding of outpatient care dynamics.
  • Proficiency in managing electronic health records (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and patient management.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient care setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation plans.
  • Background in providing education and support to patients for chronic illnesses.
  • Familiarity with community resources to assist patients in their recovery journey.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 - 130,000 annually, reflecting your skills and experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
