Position Summary The Lead, Enterprise Operations & Integration Services serves as the senior technical leader responsible for operational strategy, service reliability, integration governance, and hands-on technical execution across Customer Portal and Digital Order Management platforms. This role provides enterprise-level leadership across Database Services, Cloud Operations, Infrastructure Services, Network Technologies, Identity Services, and Shared Services governance, ensuring the stability, security, scalability, and resiliency of mission-critical business solutions. The Lead drives operational excellence through technical expertise, cross-functional coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives. Acting as a trusted subject matter expert and senior advisor, the role guides technical decision-making, resolves complex production issues, strengthens operational processes, and establishes best practices across multiple technology domains. Working closely with Architecture, Product, Engineering, Security, Cloud, Platform, Network, and Business teams, this position ensures end-to-end service continuity, operational readiness, disaster recovery preparedness, and compliance with enterprise standards. The Lead influences technical direction across teams, mentors peers, and advances operational maturity while maintaining a hands-on role in supporting critical customer-facing platforms.

Key Responsibilities Enterprise Operations Leadership
  • Serve as the senior technical lead for operational support, service reliability, and integration activities across Customer Portal and Digital Order Management platforms.
  • Provide enterprise-level technical leadership across Database Services, Cloud Operations, Infrastructure Services, Network Services, and Shared Services.
  • Drive operational excellence through governance, standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead cross functional coordination among Product, Architecture, Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, Network, and Engineering teams.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex operational issues, service disruptions, and critical production incidents.
  • Provide technical mentorship and subject matter expertise to engineering and operations teams.
Database Services Leadership
  • Lead intake, technical assessment, prioritization, and execution of database-related initiatives and operational requests.
  • Provide expert guidance on database performance tuning, migrations, upgrades, patching, backup strategies, and lifecycle management.
  • Review and approve SQL scripts, schema modifications, deployments, and production implementation plans.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and lead remediation efforts for high severity database incidents.
  • Maintain deep understanding of application architectures, data flows, system dependencies, and integration points.
  • Develop and maintain automation solutions and operational tooling to improve efficiency and service reliability.
Cloud Services, Identity & Network Operations
  • Partner with Cloud Operations, Azure, Network, Security, and Platform teams to support enterprise cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Provide technical leadership for Azure services, Azure AD/Entra ID, networking, and identity integration solutions.
  • Support implementation and governance of cloud landing zones, operational guardrails, and security controls.
  • Contribute to architecture and operational decisions involving routing, subnetting, firewall policies, DNS, connectivity, and IP management.
  • Promote standardized operational practices across cloud, hybrid, and on premises environments.
  • Support modern identity solutions, including Single Sign On (SSO), Multi Factor Authentication (MFA), and Conditional Access capabilities.
Infrastructure Services & Resiliency
  • Lead operational activities supporting compute, storage, network, platform, and infrastructure services.
  • Design and recommend application delivery and load balancing solutions utilizing F5, Azure Load Balancer, and Azure Application Gateway technologies.
  • Develop, maintain, and validate disaster recovery, failover, and business continuity strategies.
  • Coordinate enterprise resiliency testing activities and ensure recovery objectives are met.
  • Drive ownership and resolution of infrastructure related incidents and operational risks.
  • Support infrastructure modernization and capacity planning initiatives.
Operational Governance & Service Management
  • Execute and continuously improve ITIL aligned change, incident, problem, and release management processes.
  • Prepare Change Advisory Board (CAB) submissions, implementation plans, risk assessments, and post implementation reviews.
  • Lead major incident management activities and facilitate cross functional response efforts.
  • Establish and maintain operational procedures, runbooks, support documentation, and governance standards.
  • Support audit readiness, regulatory compliance requirements, and security governance initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to increase operational maturity and reduce service disruption risks.
Customer Platform Operations & Reliability
  • Ensure operational stability, performance, availability, and security of Customer Portal and Digital Order Management platforms.
  • Support 24x7 operational readiness for mission critical customer facing applications.
  • Configure and maintain observability, monitoring, alerting, performance management, and operational reporting capabilities.
  • Drive proactive problem management and service improvement initiatives to minimize operational noise and recurring incidents.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to ensure end to end service continuity and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor operational health metrics and implement reliability improvements to achieve service level objectives.
Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise operations, cloud technologies, infrastructure services, database platforms, and integration architectures.
  • Deep expertise with SQL Server, Oracle, or equivalent enterprise database technologies, including performance optimization, migrations, backup and recovery, and lifecycle management.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, Azure networking, Azure AD/Entra ID, identity services, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Proficiency with networking concepts including load balancing, firewalls, routing, DNS, IP addressing, and secure connectivity.
  • Experience with resiliency engineering, disaster recovery planning, failover testing, and business continuity practices.
  • Advanced scripting and automation capabilities using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring, observability, and performance management platforms such as Azure Monitor, Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of ITIL service management processes and operational governance practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical triage, major incident response, and root cause analysis in complex production environments.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to influence technical direction and drive cross functional outcomes without direct management authority.
Business Experience
  • Business Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise operations, infrastructure engineering, cloud services, database administration, platform engineering, or related technology disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting mission critical, customer facing platforms requiring high availability, resiliency, and operational excellence.
  • Extensive hands on experience with enterprise databases, Microsoft Azure, infrastructure services, networking technologies, automation, and operational governance.
  • Proven success leading large-scale operational initiatives and cross functional technical programs without direct people management responsibility.
  • Experience planning, executing, and validating disaster recovery and business continuity programs.
  • Experience supporting enterprise observability, monitoring, and service reliability practices.
  • Familiarity with digital commerce, order management, customer portal, or transaction processing ecosystems preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure (AZ-104, AZ-305), ITIL Foundation, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or other infrastructure and cloud certifications preferred.
