Kitchen Assistant

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the kitchen team by preparing ingredients, washing dishes and utensils, cleaning food preparation areas, and helping maintain a safe and organized kitchen. You will assist with basic food preparation, receive and store deliveries, and ensure all health and food safety standards are followed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and takes pride in providing quality service and maintaining a clean kitchen.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent is an asset
Previous kitchen or food service experience is preferred but not required
Food Safe Level 1 certification is an asset
Knowledge of safe food handling procedures
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 25 kg
Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent reliability and attendance
Legal authorization to work in Canada or eligibility to obtain it
