General Labor Manufacturing Production Support

General Summary:

This Position provides production support to weld, hardware, machining and assembly teams. Works to ensure Product is manufactured according to customer requirements. Completes all assigned work tasks as directed by area management. Understands and follows company policies and procedures. We need individuals who want to show up on time and learn the sheet metal fabrication trade. Day shift schedule. Looking for full time employees. Eligible for benefits including, health insurance, dental, vision, 401(k), and others.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Able to set-up and operate production support equipment, including drill presses, stud-welders, spot- welders, grinders and hand tools.
Accurately monitors and maintains part quality throughout the production run.
Inspects and approves work prior to sending to next operation.
Organizes time to meet production schedule requirements.
Performs daily and weekly machine and tooling maintenance activities.
Maintains a clean, safe and unobstructed work area.
Observes safety requirements for work area.

Skill Requirements:

Ability to use shop tools and air tools. Ability to read and understand the process flow identified on the product router. Ability to read prints and use precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers. Must have clear and positive communication skills.
