Job Details:

  • Pay Rate:
    • 24-Hour Call: $4,000
    • Callback: $700/hr
    • Also open to a permanent position
  • Qualifications: MD/DO Vascular Surgery
    • Board Certified or BE within 5 years of residency
    • Fellowship
    • MN License (preferred)
    • Minimum 2 years clinical experience
    • Epic experience (preferred)
  • Facility: A General Medical and Surgical Hospital
    • Trauma: Level 1
  • Schedule: Dates: December 1, 2026 - Ongoing
    • 24-hour pager (beeper) call plus inpatient rounding and consults
    • Stretches of coverage preferred
    • Callbacks anticipated 1-2 times per week
    • Possible minimal clinic coverage
  • Assignment: Inpatient
    • 95%+ inpatient
    • Patient Population: 100% adult/geriatric
    • 1-2 consults/week, 1-2 urgent/emergent cases/week, 3-5 total cases/week
    • Emergent surgery incl. penetrating vascular trauma and ruptured AAA repair
    • EMR: Epic
    • Credentialing: 60 days for clean files; temps available
    • Credentialing costs/application fees not reimbursed
