Skid Steer Operator

Our growing Brantford client who is a leader in manufacturing is looking for a Skid Steer Operator / Forklift Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2-3 years proven experience working a skid steer as well as a Forklift. There are day shifts available. The following are the responsibilities:

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Unload trailers and bunkers
  • Start-up and shut down of machines
  • Complete pre-start checklists and daily production reports
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and adjust as required
  • Operate a Forklift and Skid Steer/ MUST have skid steer experience
  • Assist other operators when required
  • Move tires from trailers and bunkers to keep production flowing
  • Fill hoppers with processed rubber
  • Stage materials on the plant floor
  • Ensure continual feed of material to hoppers to keep production going
Requirements:
  • Skid Steer License with previous experience with skid steers ex. snow removal, snowplows operators, heavy equipment operators etc.
  • Previous experience with forklift operation
  • Previous experience in a production/manufacturing facility

Hourly wage - $22/hr
Straight Days- Continental 7am-7pm
